Episode 98 promised to be an action packed adventure for all the family on Dissident Island. And it was! This time around the crew talked to Vyvian and Paul from the SQUASH (Squatters' Action for Secure Housing) campaign who tell us where the campaign is in fighting the legal aid bill, currently being deliberated in the House of Lords. Dissident Island Radio - 17 February 2012 - Episode 98:

This episode promised to be an action packed adventure for all the family on Dissident Island. And it was!

  • This time around the crew talked to Vyvian and Paul from the SQUASH (Squatters' Action for Secure Housing) campaign who tell us where the campaign is in fighting the legal aid bill, currently being deliberated in the House of Lords.
  • John and Said from Antifa KA stopped by during the tour of the UK to promote the upcoming March 31 day of action looking to take action in europe against auterity and capitalism, and the hopes of building long lasting links between various radical left networks in the EU and beyond.
  • We get an update from Tim on the past week's London NoBorders convergence, with reflections on Friday's action at Barnardo's, and announcements about upcoming camps in Stockholm in June and Cologne in July.
  • Dissident Ireland, our comrades in Ireland, report back with news and information on pro-choice campaigns.
  • Lastly, DJ g ina gi serves up some proper party tunes, gettin the folks enjoying the Red n Black social club up on their feet - and you'll do too!
